Hi, my name is Chyna Grace Wu, an artist and a grief specialist. I was born in Hong Kong, educated in New York City and have been in the United States for 25 years. I obtained a B.A in Fine Arts, and a M.A in Community Health majored in Thanatology, (Death, Dying & Bereavement) from Brooklyn College. I believe that the process of making art goes hand in hand with the process of healing, and it is the inner ability within all of us. The very moment when I feel like I want to express my emotions is the very moment I pick up my paint brush to create. PAIN-ting, to me is one of the best tools to express emotions and to express the appreciation of the beauty of life.
Being a grief specialist and an educator, I often use art as a tool to help others to shift their stagnant energies into creative energies, which allow the healing process to begin. I am specialized in portrait paintings with animals, humans, and more.
